History
Aplicaciones y Proyectos Medioambientales (APM) is an engineering application development services company. Our main areas of development are:
APM board has a large experience with regard to R&D projects. They have worked in more than 10 R&D projects, including projects funded by EU, among them:
• MUSTANG. A multiple space and time scale approach for the quantification of deep saline formations for CO2 storage.
• WATCH. Water and Global Change.
• BMW. Benchmark models for the Water Framework Directive.
• MELODIES. Maximizing the exploitation of linked open data in science and enterprise.
- Numerical models of surface hydrology and fluvial hydrology
- Numerical models of landfills: mechanical stability and leachate
- Computing in cloud computing for underground hydrology
- Numerical models of city resilience
- APM provides services of computational and engineering projects since 2003.
- On 2010 APM has co-founded Hydromodel Host, S.L. an start-up for "numerical model hosting” for groundwater flow models: allows the user to access their numerical models, update (calibrate) their models with every new data, and facilitates the analysis of different scenarios (“what if”).
- On 2013 APM has acquired Senlui Software, S.L., a software company specialized on scientific worlflows for hydrology.
- On 2016 APM has participated in Opticits, S.L., a private spin-off to develop solutions in urban resilience.
